Molybdenum alloys
Molybdenum matrix by adding other elements consisting of non-ferrous alloys. Major alloying elements are titanium, zirconium, hafnium, tungsten, and rare earth elements. Titanium, zirconium, hafnium, molybdenum alloy element not only for the solid solution strengthening effect, maintain low temperature ductility of the alloy, but also form a stable carbide dispersed phase, improve tensile strength and recrystallization temperature. Molybdenum metal alloys have good thermal conductivity and low coefficient of expansion, at a high temperature (1100 ~ 1650 ℃) high strength, easy processing than tungsten.
